It offers a broad range of products making ping pong accessible to the many. Rollnet is one of Decathlon's flagship products : easy to carry, you can set it up on any table and play straight away with whoever, wherever. For the release of their new model, we enhanced each strength of the net, mixing fun and precision through a series of 4 satisfying animations. We hope these animations will leave you relaxed and in the mood to start another pingpong game! The genesis It all starts with a flood of ideas, from sketches to storyboards. SHAPING IDEAS Each element has been modeled for the animation: paddle, tables, sets to clothes. COME FULL CIRCLE The distinctive feature of these animations comes from the illusion created by the view angle and the end perfectly connected to the beginning, creating an infinite loop. A TAILOR-MADE EXPERIENCE All the films were designed from the outset in landscape, portrait and square format for optimal viewing whether you are on Instagram, Youtube or Facebook, as story or permanent post. We created a 3D fashion show in a video format that can also be experienced in virtual reality. Clothes are first modelised and animated on digital models. Then, we simulate the movement : walking, running or any other wished attitude. The 3D fashion show allows anyone to picture properly the different cuts and materials of the fabric. This innovative solution provides many assets : it improves and speeds up the conception, reassures the customers. It is a revolution for communication. KALENJI 3D FASHION SHOW & VR Artistic direction 3D Animation VR AWARD Project awarded at the "Com' en Or Trophy 2022" "Customer Experience" category 3d fashion show & vr We have developed an innovative solution to create videos of worn clothes in action : walking, running, or any other wished mouvement. Everything starts with the row templates to create a virtual fashion show. Then, clothes are modeled and animated in 3D on virtual models. The fashion show can be viewed in two different formats : - 4K Video - VR Animation This solution enables you to get a couple of advantages in different fields of activity such as conception, sales and communication conception The modelisation accelerates the clothes creation process. Indeed, thanks to the 3D fashion show, one can anticipate the movements of the different cuts and materials while standing still, walking or even running for example. In this way, one can test the collection even before receiving the first prototypes. Designers and product managers will save precious time. SALES About sales, our solution helps to minimize risks and ease the decision taking process thanks to a better visualization of the products. Nowadays buyers order several millions of products at a time only with the row templates in 1D. It can lead to unpleasant surprises that can be avoided with our 3D or VR contents. COMMUNICATION Finally, about communication, a 3D animated fashion show is deeply avant-gardist. It is the perfect medium to promote clothes because the images are only focused on them. Without the models, anyone can imagine themselves wearing the clothes no matter their body type or their origin. 3D images offer infinite possibilities : one can zoom on details, watch how the fabric moves during an action, change the colors of the product depending on the collections… There is therefore no need to organise a photoshoot given that all the contents are completely reusable. Moreover, this type of project can be very quickly developed (about 10 or 15 days). We accompanied Jules Charbonnier in the production of his short film, LES CHOSES QUI COMPTENT. Our mission: to gather all the technical and human resources and then translate the script and all the intentions of the director into images. Short film THINGS THAT MATTER Video shoot Artistic Direction THINGS THAT MATTER THINGS THAT MATTER THINGS THAT MATTER Thomas, a young adult working in finance, is determined to succeed professionally, no matter the hardships and sacrifices, even if it costs him the pleasure of life. His obsession will however be put on hold when he wakes up one morning in the body of his "him" 20 years earlier. It is not without difficulty that Thomas has to relearn the taste for carelessness and simple things. SHORT FILM A WORD FROM JULES CHERBONNIER, director "I don't have time, I have to work. "What is my goal in life?" "If I had started this ten years earlier..." "If I had known." "I will become someone." Creating this project, writing this story comes from a desire to illustrate our quest, I should even say, our common obsession that we have to succeed... To conquer and mark our existence in this world in order to overcome that fear of being forgotten. I think we can all, to some degree, relate to Thomas, his loneliness and perdition in his choices and daily life. We all wish to discover the answer to this search for happiness, our reason or destiny that we feel we have an obligation to fulfill and follow. In my life, I have been Thomas, I have been lost and stubborn, I have been alone by my own doing. My message is the one I got from this experience: Happiness can be found in the small moments of life, it is not enough to chase after some extreme. Take a breath, stop and take the time to see how far you have come, to consider the people who surround you and love you: You don't need anything more, you are happy. Jules CHERBONNIER, Director. PRODUCTION A custom production team was assembled and coordinated with the director including the following passionate experts: Production Manager, Line Producer, Director of Photography, Assistant Director, Director of photography, Chief lighting operator, First assistant camera, Second assistant camera, First gaffer, Second gaffer, Electrician, Script, Backstage photographers, Chief sound operator, Sound assistant, Head decorator, Head of hair and makeup, Stage Manager DIRECTION OF PHOTOGRAPHY We paid particular attention to each shot, each framing in order to translate and sublimate the director's intentions into images. LIGHT The light was artificially composed for each shot in order to ensure homogeneity and consistency throughout the short film. FRAMING In order to ensure the best possible image rendering, we captured every moment with a cinema camera, the ALEXA MINI ARRI. MUSICAL COMPOSITION The original composition of the film was made from scratch in order to translate the director's intentions from a sound point of view. editing We did the editing on the basis of the script through Adobe Première. CALIBRATION We translated the director's intentions through the color grading established on DaVinci. In order to highlight the different aspects that come together behind the logo, we have produced a video showing the different product creation processes within the Decathlon design teams. A MEANING BEHIND EACH PLAN Through 3D animation, coupled with motion design and sound design, the logo takes shape and comes to life in different forms of drawings, vectors, 3D printing, recycling or even fluid. As the video progresses, the logo is constructed, interlocked, liquefied as the different views and close-up progresses for a dynamic rhythm. To accompany the launch of its new ultra-light, dynamic running shoes, KIPRUN entrusted us with the creation of an immersive 3D animation, designed to highlight its technical architecture combining carbon plate and high-density injected foam. Designed to break records and dominate competitions, these performance shoes are among the three lightest on the market. KIPRUN KD900X LAB Art direction 3D Animation Motion Design For the launch of its new ultra-light, dynamic running shoes, KIPRUN entrusted us with the creation of an immersive 3D animation, designed to highlight its technical architecture combining carbon plate and high-density injected foam. Designed to break records and dominate competitions, these performance shoes are among the three lightest on the market. The animation reveals the shoe under construction in a darkened environment: foam beads agglomerate, carbon fibers intertwine, giving rise to an innovative, racy silhouette of taut, sharp lines. To enhance the immersive experience, we crafted a custom sound design that evokes the shoe’s lightness, movement, and precision. Through subtle lighting effects and FPV shots plunging into the very interior of the shoe, the video transcribes the technicality and precision of its design into a sensory experience. A concentrate of performance embodied in an ultra-dynamic mise-en-scène.
