The main idea behind the new version of the Jaguar F-PACE was to make the car more distinctive by reducing the height of the headlights and tail lights. At the front, we created a luminous signature with double J-shaped blades inspired by calligraphy. We introduced a laser-engraved pattern on the top of the J-shaped blades that references the original Jaguar logo. The lights are equipped with pixel technology.
We wanted to make the tail lights thinner and darker. We developed the signature design into a double chicane graphic to echo the double Js of the headlights. The lights have a sequential direction indicator. We highlighted the weight of the line, from thick to thin, as a calligrapher would with their pen.
