Our collaborative process began with the creation of STATERA's brand platform, an in-depth exploration of Yannis' values and mission. This enabled us to crystallise a visual identity imbued with human warmth. This enabled us to crystallise a visual identity imbued with human warmth. The italic typography encourages connection, while the minimalist logo, composed of two semicircles in perfect symbiosis, embodies the idea of stability and balance, a visual metaphor for the name 'Statera', meaning balance in Latin. The introduction of vast landscapes into this visual identity brings a touch of nature and serenity, reinforcing the sense of calm that STATERA seeks to offer. STATERA stands as a beacon of hope, a hand stretched out towards a future where silence regains its tranquillity. We came up with a video shot in the studio, in a luminous, immersive environment. The video showcases the motorcycle through dynamic sequences revealing the unique model, sublimated by the play of light and reflections. In 2014, DECATHLON, the French leader in the design and sale of sports equipment, wanted to unite its own brands and refocus on its image to make it simpler, more meaningful and more impactful. In 2015, the group asked us for an analysis of its entire image library. DECATHLON PHOTOGRAPH AND ILLUSTRATION GUIDELINES Analysis Action plan Workshop Brainstorming Photograph and illustration guidelines In 2014, DECATHLON, the French leader in the design and sale of sports equipment, wanted to unite its own brands and refocus on its image to make it simpler, more meaningful and more impactful. In 2015, the group asked us for an analysis of its entire image library. 1.STATEMENT As a result of this analysis, significant differences in quality, image capture, image processing and light were observed. Historically, each internal brand had worked independently and with autonomy. There was a lack of overall unified artistic direction. 2.MISSION Define an overall framework that facilitates increased consistency, meaningfulness and pride. Upgrade the quality of content. Give meaning to the images to make people want to exercise. 3.ISSUES How can we bring all of DECATHLON's leader images and the group's entire image creation and production ecosystem together around a common artistic vision? How do we manage a cross-functional project for a group of more than 80,000 employees split into more than 50 internal brands? 4.STANCE Build collaborative thinking to define a coherent overall artistic direction. Assert the group's values and bring them out through images. 5.KEY STEPS An action plan was defined in order to complete this cross-functional project : Analyse Unite Deploy Apply 5.1 ANALYZE Following the initial study of the image library, the project continued with a 360° analysis internally and externally, in France and abroad. 5.2 UNITE By running internal brainstorming sessions, we defined the values and codes of the group's photography in the summer of 2016. At the heart of the discussion was a representative panel of internal and external stakeholders involved in the production or use of photos and videos. Co-writing was the key to success, as it resulted in shared support for the project. 5.3 DEploy In order to improve consistency while respecting the identity of each sport, the brand entrusted us with applying the framework to its internal brands in late 2016. To do this, we created a bespoke workshop and rolled it out to more than 20 brands. Some of the best known are QUECHUA, BTWIN, DOMYOS, OXELO, KIPSTA and TARMAK, which have just signed in 2021 with the NBA 5.4 APPLy Ensuring compliance with the photograph and illustration guidelines written to date is the responsibility of the company and its brands. Today, we guarantee this in the creation of advertising campaigns. 6. OUTCOME A meaningful, powerful and harmonious image library. Simplification and optimisation of the work of image stakeholders. Pride and a greater sense of belonging to the brand for its teams. 7. continuous improvement In 2023 we continue to work with Decathlon in order to promote the growth of their new internal brands. We are co-building new iconographic charts to create photo and video contents that are both impactful and unforgettable. The Rollnet is one of Decathlon's flagship products: easily transportable, it can be installed on any table. It offers a broad range of products making ping pong accessible to the many. Rollnet is one of Decathlon's flagship products : easy to carry, you can set it up on any table and play straight away with whoever, wherever. For the release of their new model, we enhanced each strength of the net, mixing fun and precision through a series of 4 satisfying animations. We hope these animations will leave you relaxed and in the mood to start another pingpong game! The genesis It all starts with a flood of ideas, from sketches to storyboards. SHAPING IDEAS Each element has been modeled for the animation: paddle, tables, sets to clothes. COME FULL CIRCLE The distinctive feature of these animations comes from the illusion created by the view angle and the end perfectly connected to the beginning, creating an infinite loop. A TAILOR-MADE EXPERIENCE All the films were designed from the outset in landscape, portrait and square format for optimal viewing whether you are on Instagram, Youtube or Facebook, as story or permanent post. We accompanied Jules Charbonnier in the production of his short film, LES CHOSES QUI COMPTENT. Our mission: to gather all the technical and human resources and then translate the script and all the intentions of the director into images. Short film THINGS THAT MATTER Video shoot Artistic Direction THINGS THAT MATTER THINGS THAT MATTER THINGS THAT MATTER Thomas, a young adult working in finance, is determined to succeed professionally, no matter the hardships and sacrifices, even if it costs him the pleasure of life. His obsession will however be put on hold when he wakes up one morning in the body of his "him" 20 years earlier. It is not without difficulty that Thomas has to relearn the taste for carelessness and simple things. SHORT FILM A WORD FROM JULES CHERBONNIER, director "I don't have time, I have to work. "What is my goal in life?" "If I had started this ten years earlier..." "If I had known." "I will become someone." Creating this project, writing this story comes from a desire to illustrate our quest, I should even say, our common obsession that we have to succeed... To conquer and mark our existence in this world in order to overcome that fear of being forgotten. I think we can all, to some degree, relate to Thomas, his loneliness and perdition in his choices and daily life. We all wish to discover the answer to this search for happiness, our reason or destiny that we feel we have an obligation to fulfill and follow. In my life, I have been Thomas, I have been lost and stubborn, I have been alone by my own doing. My message is the one I got from this experience: Happiness can be found in the small moments of life, it is not enough to chase after some extreme. Take a breath, stop and take the time to see how far you have come, to consider the people who surround you and love you: You don't need anything more, you are happy. Jules CHERBONNIER, Director. A PRODUCTION BY banana CREATIVE AGENCY We accompanied Jules Charbonnier in the production of his short film, LES CHOSES QUI COMPTENT. Our mission: to gather all the technical and human resources and then translate the script and all the intentions of the director into images. PRODUCTION A custom production team was assembled and coordinated with the director including the following passionate experts: Production Manager, Line Producer, Director of Photography, Assistant Director, Director of photography, Chief lighting operator, First assistant camera, Second assistant camera, First gaffer, Second gaffer, Electrician, Script, Backstage photographers, Chief sound operator, Sound assistant, Head decorator, Head of hair and makeup, Stage Manager DIRECTION OF PHOTOGRAPHY We paid particular attention to each shot, each framing in order to translate and sublimate the director's intentions into images. LIGHT The light was artificially composed for each shot in order to ensure homogeneity and consistency throughout the short film. FRAMING In order to ensure the best possible image rendering, we captured every moment with a cinema camera, the ALEXA MINI ARRI. MUSICAL COMPOSITION The original composition of the film was made from scratch in order to translate the director's intentions from a sound point of view. editing We did the editing on the basis of the script through Adobe Première. CALIBRATION We translated the director's intentions through the color grading established on DaVinci.
