A French running brand developed by Decathlon, KIPRUN designs performance equipment engineered to support runners at the highest level of competition. With the KD900X LAB, the flagship of its carbon-plate range, KIPRUN asserts its ambition by choosing the Paris Marathon 2025 as the stage for its official public launch.

To highlight this new release as well as its expertise, BANANA designed an immersive 3D animation, in which the narrative opens
on the material themselves, assembling and taking structure.
The carbon plate combines with a high-rebound foam, while the architecture is built and gradually reveals the shoe as a whole. Explore performance as it is built, fiber after fiber.

BEHIND THE SCENE
To enhance the 3D animation, we created a custom sound design. It all starts with aerial SFX to accompany the camera and shoe movements. Each scene has its own atmosphere: balloon inflation sounds for the foam, zippers to illustrate the assembly of the fabric, and an evolving musical layer, ranging from dark, metallic textures to bright, light sounds. Everything is mixed in stereo with spatialization in harmony with the elements for total immersion in the shoe.
Discover the parallel between the initial graphic intentions and the final rendering.
